pcc kids

PCC Kids is our ministry for children ages birth through fifth grade designed for "Helping children discover and experience the life-changing love of Christ!"

PCC Kids exists to help supplement and team up with the family to provide a solid spiritual foundation for our children. Through real and meaningful relationships with volunteers and relevant, engaging Bible teachings, children will be led to a real and relevant relationship with Christ.

PCC Kids is here to play an important role in your child's spiritual development. It is ultimately your influence and involvement that will determine how your child grows. We are excited to come alongside you and assist you in this lifelong process.

Children will begin their Sunday attending Worship with their family. Classes are held each Sunday and once Worship is over the children will be dismissed to their assigned classrooms. Every 5th Sunday of the month our preschoolers to 5th grade children will attend services for "Family Day."

Our lessons are designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus by using key Bible stories, life applications of God's truth, 4 faith skills about God, Scriptures, People and Salvation, and focusing on the 3 basic truths: making wish choices, trusting God no matter what, and treating others the way I want to be treated.

Security: The safety of the children entrusted to us is of primary importance. All volunteers have had background checks and are security cleared. On Sundays, parents/guardians sign their children into class through our electronic check-in system. A claim ticket confirming the child's name, classroom, and allergy information is printed for each child. Parents/Guardians must present the correct claim tag to the teacher before a child is released to them.

    birth-36 months

Our nursery is for newborns up to 36 months of age. We work hard to ensure that our classroom is safe, clean, and staffed by loving, security-cleared volunteers. We thoroughly enjoy spending time with God's littlest ones, loving them, and watching them grow! We believe that it's never too early to begin telling babies and toddlers about God's love for them.

    3 YRS - preK

This is a safe, welcoming place for preschoolers from age three until they enter Kindergarten. Along with our loving teachers and assistants, students watch a video of the weekly Bible story, discuss the story through activities and crafts, pray and learn about God's love for them!

  • k-1st grade

This classroom is for Kindergarteners and first graders. Children in this class will participate in a larger group setting to watch a video of the weekly Bible lesson, have open discussion of the lesson, pray, learn Bible verses, and head back to their classroom for additional activities and crafts encompassing the Bible story. The overall focus will be to learn of God's love for them!

  • 2nd-3rd grade

This classroom is for second and third graders. Together with our other elementary school children, they will initially gather after worship to have a group lesson on the weekly Bible verse and story. Children will watch a video, have an open discuss after the video where the discussions will bring alive truths and connect them them to student's every day experiences. After all children are dismissed to their assigned classrooms, the children will continue in activities, games and crafts exploring the Bible story and passage. Most importantly, we like to have a safe and fun environment. Where children are loved, accepted, and challenged to grow closer to Christ.

  • 4th-5th gradE

This class is a safe and comfortable place where students are encouraged to make friends and have fun, to ask hard questions, and to seek answers to everyday issues in God's Word. Fifth Sundays are "Family Days" for these students, where they attend service with their families. In addition, we will encourage our students to volunteer during the fifth Sunday. This will include helping with the check in of students, greeting attendees, and possibly helping in a classroom as needed.
