FELIZ NAVIDAD! HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
This Christmas season as the PCC family celebrates the birth of the greatest gift ever given - God’s own Son - we turn our hearts toward our friends in Honduras.
Children, in the villages of Honduras that our teams have had the privilege to visit, travel up to 10 miles one way to school each day causing them to give up on their education before 7th grade. During a recent trip to Honduras our team had the opportunity to gift children with bicycles to help with this challenge. Our Pastor, Craig Casey who was a member of this team, reflects on a boy who received one of these bicycles:
“He was so excited to get the bike. As we walked to get the bikes he was walking slightly ahead of the rest of the kids, but as we got closer he walked faster! He had such a huge smile on his face when he received the bike. He tried to play it cool, but he was so excited!” -Craig M. Casey
Our hope this season is to continue this excitement -to gift bicycles to more children in Honduras so they too have the hope of education beyond elementary school! You can be a part of this excitement by giving today!
