On Sunday, November 17th from 1:00pm to 2:45pm we will meet at the Nature Center in Washington Crossing State Park, NJ to take a short hike into the woods where we will collectively build a weatherproof survival shelter completely of native materials that will be found on the forest floor without the use of tools, tarps or other equipment. We recommend that registrants dress in play/work clothes and plan to get a little dirty. The event will take place weather permitting. We will have lunch together at 1:00pm under the pavilion at the Nature Center prior to heading into the woods around 1:30pm. Please bring a bag lunch (trash is carry-in, carry-out).
