By fostering a collaborative environment, the PCC staff seeks to encourage and support each other in ministry efforts and in life. We are currently seeking joy-filled individuals who are passionate about Jesus and desire to share the love, grace and truth of The Lord with their community.


Our current opportunities are organized as part time positions however, if the opportunity presents itself, we are open to combining ministry roles to create full time and part time positions.

WORSHIP PASTOR

The worship pastor provides vision and leadership to the worship team to help fulfill Princeton Community Church’s mission, goals and objectives.  The position reports to the Senior Pastor.


Spiritual Component

  • Support the official mission of the church, “Help people discover and experience the life-changing love of Christ”
  • Commit and continue to pray for God’s vision for PCC including the congregation and staff
  • Work within the leadership team in conjunction with staff to help implement God’s vision

Ministerial Component


Worship Ministry

  • Explore a variety of worship avenues
  • Work with volunteers to provide training in various worship ministry related areas as needed
  • Administer and train volunteers in video recording and production
  • Provide avenues for spiritual growth among volunteers
  • Determine weekly worship schedule, songs, musicians, support staff and order of service in conjunction with the Sr. Pastor
  • Oversee and nurture interns where applicable

Additional Ministerial Opportunities

  • When requested by the Senior Pastor, prepare and deliver Biblical messages to the congregation (if willing and gifted in this area)
  • Function as a member of PCC’s pastoral staff performing baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc. (as qualified and requested)

Administrative Component

  • Suggest improvements in church procedures/policies as needed
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, texts and other forms of communication in a timely manner (typically within 24 hours)
  • Communicate any issues and/or concerns to the Sr. Pastor as they are known
  • Develop an annual budget for worship ministry and oversee the allocation of the budget
  • Support the activities of PCC ministries which relate to or need assistance from the Worship Ministry (sound, musicians, multi-media, projection, lights, etc.) 

Additional Commitments

  • Weekly staff meetings (Monday’s 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
  • Leadership Team meetings (1st Tuesday of each month - 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
  • Annual congregation meeting (last Sunday in January)

Optional Opportunities

  • Monthly Ecumenical meeting (2nd Tuesday of each month - 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
  • Weekly interaction with interns (Thursday - 10:00 a.m.)
  • Conferences, events, activities

Position Details

  • Part time position (10-15 hours per week)
  • Pay range is negotiable
  • Paid Time Off and ministry expense reimbursement included
