On Friday, February 6th at 7:00 PM, we will gather here at PCC to enjoy light desserts and spend time together. During the evening, we’ll share more in depth about the Hearts for Honduras initiatives, highlight what God has been doing, and provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
This will be a meaningful time of connection, celebration, and hope, and we would be grateful to have you with us!

PRAYER PARTNERSHIP
HEARTS FOR HONDURAS | PRAYER PARTNERSHIP
We’re excited to share that we are in the process of coordinating a Prayer Partnership between our community and the students and farmers in Honduras who are receiving scholarships through the generosity of our PCC family.
On Sunday, February 1st, we’ll share more details about this partnership and the meaningful ways you can become a prayer partner and walk alongside our brothers and sisters in Honduras.
In the meantime, we invite you to visit the Hearts for Honduras page on our website to catch a glimpse of how God is moving through this global Outreach Ministry partnership.

FROM SCARCITY TO SUSTAINABILITY
OUR GOALS
- Equipping farmers with knowledge to thrive in challenging conditions
- Creating food security through innovative farming techniques
The Hearts for Honduras Agricultural Initiative equips local farmers with sustainable techniques. To transform El Triunfo's agricultural landscape and address the unique challenges of the Dry Corridor, we've assembled a dream team of agricultural expertise:
- UNAG (National University of Agriculture of Honduras) - Local experts with hearts for their people
- ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization) - Global innovators in sustainable agriculture
TRAINING TOPICS
- Sustainable farming, climate resilience, soil revitalization, water conservation, organic solutions, pest management, and seed preservation.

MOBILIZING RESOURCES
Our role serves to support local leaders in Honduras who are dedicated to creating lasting change in their communities. Every contribution matters. Through the generosity of our church family, PCC’s Hearts for Honduras ministry provides:
- Faithful Funding - $3,328 per visit fuels transformation on the ground
- Connections - Opening doors to resources and expertise previously out of reach
- Hands-on Support - Short-term outreach trips (7-10 days) with long-term impact, typically in November
- Long-term partnership - Walking alongside our Honduran brothers and sisters, because real change takes time
ANNUAL CALENDAR
- 7 annual visits - 5 intensive training sessions, 2 nurturing follow-ups

Our initiative has touched lives across El Triunfo:
- Subsistence farmers: From barely surviving to sustainably thriving.
- School children: Planting knowledge through vibrant school garden programs.
- Entire communities: Witnessing transformation as food security becomes a real possibility.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Below is a list of ways you can financially support our Hearts for Honduras Agricultural Initiative. All donations/gifts given to our Honduras outreach will help fund our agricultural initiative + our scholarship initiative. Click on the link below, follow the Giving Type drop-down menu and select Missions/Honduras to donate today.
AGRICULTURAL INITIATIVE
- 1 Agricultural Training - $2600 - this is a 1 week training that takes place 5 times each year
- 1 Local Administrator - $500 - this person (Alejandro) provides logistical support prior to and during each agricultural week of training that takes place 5 times each year
- 1 Follow-up agricultural visit - $1000 - this is a 1 week follow up at strategic times that takes place 2 times each year
- Stipend for community leaders to provide oversight to program between training/workshops - $2900 total
GET INVOLVED
Following Christ's example, we reach beyond ourselves to impact people's lives, combining practical help with the hope of Jesus. Together, we can sow new seeds of hope in Honduras's Dry Corridor.
PRAYER PARTNERSHIP
Prayer is the center of our Hearts for Honduras initiatives because we believe God hears our prayers and there is power in prayer.
One of the things our team discovered on a recent trip to Honduras, was how much the scholarship students, their families, and those involved in the agricultural program pray for us. With this in mind, the Outreach Ministry has organized a Prayer Partnership for our PCC Family and the Farmers + Professors in our Hearts for Honduras Agricultural Initiative.
We would like to invite you as an individual, couple, family or Small Group to partner with a scholarship student in our Hearts for Honduras Agricultural initiative by praying for them during the year.
