Summer is here! PCCKiDS needs teachers for our Nursery, Toddler, PreK-K, and Elementary classrooms this July and August. During the school year, we ask for month-long commitments; however, because summer schedules are more fluid, a weekly sign up sheet has been set up.

If you are new to PCC or children's ministry, serving for one or two weeks in the summer is an excellent opportunity to try out a classroom without the monthly commitment.

The quest for God’s kingdom begins with Jesus. Jesus told stories about God’s kingdom because He wants people to know that God loves them and
that God wants good things for them. When we choose to follow Jesus, we are given the amazing mission of helping to grow God’s kingdom through the power
of the Holy Spirit. But God’s kingdom isn’t a place we have to travel to. God’s kingdom is everywhere God’s people are. Seeking God’s kingdom and inviting others to be
a part of it is more valuable than anything else that we can ever own or achieve or be. God has invited us on the amazing adventure of partnering with Him to bring
the kingdom now, where we live, until the time when God makes everything right and brings the kingdom fully

Step into Kingdom Quest—a grand and joyful adventure where every child becomes a seeker of the greatest treasure ever known:
the Kingdom of God. When we discover Jesus and follow His footsteps, we can know more about God and grow closer to Him.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our PCCKiDS' Sunday program provides an opportunity for children to build community with their peers here at PCC. We seek to partner with families to help children discover and experience God’s love and grace. Our teachers lead age appropriate lessons from the Bible with related life applications. From nursery through fifth grade, children will be nurtured in a loving and caring environment. Safety and security are very important to us therefore, every PCCKiDS ministry volunteer has undergone a background check. In addition to Sunday mornings, children and family events are held throughout the year to develop supportive relationships and encourage service within and outside of the church.

PARENT | CHILD DEDICATION
“Teach God’s Word to your children, talk about it when you sit at home and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.”
Deuteronomy 11:18-20
We believe that as parents we have been called to rely on God for strength and wisdom as we raise our children. By entering into a covenant relationship with God, we commit to being good examples and to instilling Godly values in our children. The Parent | Child Dedication Ceremony is a ceremony in which the parents publicly state their intent to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors God. They commit to laying a spiritual foundation that, in God’s timing, will ultimately lead their child(ren) into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is an opportunity for the Church to enter into a special partnership with parents which involves encouraging, instructing and assisting them as
they journey through parenthood.
We offer the Parent | Child Dedication Ceremony two times a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.
The ceremony takes place at the beginning of the 10:15AM worship service.
