At PCC, we believe God created us to do life together.
Small Groups exist to create a community that extends beyond Sunday morning and allows for a time of deeper, more personal connections and study.
Wednesdays | 7 PM
A group of believers that pray for each other and are invested in doing life with one another. We journey through God’s word and seek ways to incorporate His teachings in our lives and develop meaningful relationships with each other and draw closer in our relationship with Christ. Our studies include studying books of the bible, podcast, video series and movies.
Wednesdays | 6:30 PM
The Hopewell Borough Small Group meets every Wednesday, with adult members arriving between 6:30 and 7PM at 109 West Broad St. Hopewell, NJ 08525, the home of George and Eileen Wislar. We begin our pursuit of deepening our relationship with Jesus at 7PM, via many ways including discussing the weekly PCC sermon, the Bible, books, and DVDs. Our member's knowledge of the Bible ranges from novice to expert. Please stop in to see if we’re a fit for you.
Fridays | 7:30 PM
As a long running Small Group we always welcome newcomers. We encourage an open, supportive and relaxed atmosphere so that together we can learn and grow our relationship with God. Unfortunately, we have no childcare available. But, aside from that please feel free to try us out on a Friday night.
Fridays | 6 AM
It's a "Niche group" for Guys who appreciate:
a) Bible Study
c) Involvement in each others lives (members some new, others with history of 10+ years)
d) Great cheap breakfast ($3.99 includes eggs, potatoes or tomatoes, toast, and all the coffee you can drink)
e) In a one hour time slot that in most cases does not cramp family or work responsibility [only sleep]
It's a pretty diverse group by age, family situation, church affiliation (some are "former PCC"), politics, sports affiliation, humor preferences, work situations, etc. We appreciate the diversity of perspectives and gifts but celebrate the fact that the love of Christ, His Word, and His body unites us.
Mondays | 7 PM
The Pennington small group is made up of individuals and families with children of all ages. Our focus is on living life together with Jesus at the center of our lives. We have a wide range of books/DVDs that we use to grow in our faith and we are looking to serve as a group in the community at Homefront. There is no childcare but the kids watch a movie or play outside/downstairs (we can arrange childcare for smaller children).
First & Third Wednesday of the month | 7 PM
The Pennington @ PCC Small Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Café at PCC. While the group is open to all ages and intellectual/spiritual levels, the current age range is 40 to 70+. Couples and singles are welcome.
Thursdays | 6:30 PM
As a small group we prioritize being together, praying together and reading God's Word together. We are working our way through the Old Testament, tracing the theme of God's covenant relationship with God's people throughout. We also enjoy playing games together!
Wednesdays | 6:30 PM
This new group aims to be a cross-cultural initiative for 20s-30s from diverse cultural backgrounds to meet, form friendships, pray and study the Word of God together (not to mention sampling delicious refreshments!). We plan to kick off with studies on the Gospel of Luke.
Wednesdays | 7:30 PM
BOYS | The PYC High School Boys Small Group is open to all boys in grades 9th-12th. We love talking about Jesus and eating pizza rolls.
GIRLS | The PYC High School Girls Small Group is open to all girls in grades 9th-12th. Our goal is to create an environment where girls feel comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences, and forming meaningful relationships with one another. Each week we strive to seek community and encounter Christ through reading His Word, applying it to our lives, and praying for each other. Through this time together we encourage one another to walk daily with Jesus Christ and to help discover his unique purpose for our lives.
Tuesdays | 7:00 PM
Worshipers who believe in seeking the Holy Spirit in multiple ways, such as singing, praying, reading, sharing, asking, praising and laughing together. We use song to set the mood, publicly ask for God to open our hearts and minds, read to discern that which the Bible is telling us and petition the Lord for help in our struggles and those whom we remember. Beside songs, on occasion we view and discuss a video series on the Old Testament and its connection to the New Testament. Throughout we share our experiences in our efforts to grow closer to each other and to Christ.
