OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

heart

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,

as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

    BUILDING + GROUNDS TEAM

The Building & Grounds Team is responsible for the care, upkeep, and improvement of our Church’s facilities. This team helps ensure that our building and grounds are clean, safe, well-maintained, and repaired as needed.

The team coordinates periodic cleanup days, organizes volunteers for ongoing maintenance, and helps identify and address projects that improve our Church property.

We are looking to build this team! If you enjoy working with your hands, helping with maintenance and projects, or simply want to serve by caring for our Church’s facilities, we would love to have you on the team.

No special skills are required—just a willing heart and a desire to serve.

  • DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY

The goal of this ministry is to learn together as disciples of Jesus. Through our classes and reading plans, we seek to grow deeper in our knowledge and understanding of Scripture while exploring how the Lord speaks into our lives. We believe discipleship is a journey taken together as a community, learning together how to follow the Lord Jesus in everything. Join us as we study, reflect, and pray together.

Classes are held Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM.

  • FINANCE MINISTRY

Biblical Stewardship. Faithful Accountability. Wise Leadership.

Money should be handled in a way that is honorable and above reproach—“taking pains to do what is right, not only in the Lord’s sight but also in the sight of man” (2 Corinthians 8:21). Those entrusted with financial responsibilities should be people of integrity, trustworthiness, and wisdom.

Following the biblical principle of shared responsibility and accountability (2 Corinthians 8:18–24; Acts 6:3–6), we believe that financial functions should involve more than one person. Working together provides appropriate accountability and helps ensure that the church’s resources are managed faithfully and transparently.

The Finance Team works alongside the Leadership Team, staff, and ministry leaders to:

    • Establish and monitor the annual church budget based on projected giving.
    • Help ensure that PCC has the financial resources needed to fulfill its mission and vision.
    • Review monthly financial reports and provide appropriate oversight.
    • Present a monthly financial update to the Leadership Team and staff.

    Join the Team

We are looking for new members who value biblical stewardship, integrity, accountability, and serving the church through their financial gifts and experience.

If you have a heart for helping PCC faithfully steward the resources God has entrusted to us, we would love for you to consider serving on the Finance Team.

  • HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

This ministry makes a great first impression!

Welcoming People. Building Connections. Sharing Grace.

Through greeting, connecting, and hosting, our Hospitality Ministry seeks to be a tangible expression of God’s grace in our community by creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who comes to PCC on Sunday mornings.

We believe hospitality is more than simply welcoming people through the doors—it’s about helping each person feel seen, valued, connected, and at home in our church community.

We are currently building this ministry to include several teams that work together to create a welcoming Sunday morning experience:

    • Greeting Team — Welcoming people as they arrive and helping create a friendly, inviting first impression.
    • Connect Team — Helping guests and attenders find their way, make connections, and take their next steps in becoming part of the PCC community.
    • Coffee Team — Creating opportunities for people to gather, connect, and enjoy fellowship over coffee.
    • Communion Team — Helping prepare and serve Communion as we worship together and remember Christ’s sacrifice.

Whether you naturally enjoy meeting new people, serving behind the scenes, making coffee, or helping others feel connected, there is a place for you on the Hospitality Ministry team.

    COFFEE TEAM

The Coffee Team helps create a warm and welcoming environment on Sunday mornings by preparing coffee for our PCC family as they arrive for worship. This simple act of service provides an opportunity for people to gather, connect, and enjoy fellowship together.

    Time Requirement:
Coffee Team members arrive at 9:45 AM on their scheduled Sundays to prepare the coffee and have everything ready before the start of the worship service.

    COMMUNION TEAM

The Communion Team helps prepare for worship by setting up the communion trays for our Sunday morning worship service. Through this ministry of service, team members help create an environment where our church family can participate in Communion and remember Christ’s sacrifice together.

    Time Requirement:
Communion Team members arrive at 9:45 AM on their scheduled Sundays to prepare the communion trays and have everything ready before the start of the worship service.

    CONNECT TEAM

The Connect Team serves as a welcoming presence for the PCC family and guests as they arrive and leave each Sunday. Team members help visitors and regular attenders feel welcomed, answer questions, and connect people with the ministries and opportunities available at PCC.

Using the Connect Table and iPad, team members help provide information about PCC ministries, collect Connect Cards from visitors, share relevant ministry information, and provide welcome gifts to those who complete and submit Connect Cards.

    Time Requirement:
Connect Team members arrive 10–15 minutes before the start of the worship service on their scheduled Sundays and remain in the foyer for at least 5 minutes after the worship set begins.

Team members then return to the foyer just before the worship service concludes and remain available until most attendees have left for the day.

We are prayerfully seeking enough team members to allow each person to serve approximately once every four to six weeks.

    GREETING TEAM

The Greeting Team helps create a warm and welcoming environment by greeting the PCC family and guests as they arrive for our Sunday morning worship service. Team members serve as a friendly first point of contact, helping everyone feel welcomed and valued as they enter the church.

    Time Requirement:
Greeting Team members arrive 10–15 minutes before the start of the worship service on their scheduled Sundays. Since the service begins at 10:15 AM, team members will stand at the front doors and greet those arriving from approximately 10:00–10:20 AM.

  • OUTREACH MINISTRY

    REACHING COMMUNITIES LOCAL + ABROAD

We believe God has called us to be a tangible presence of His grace and love in our communities and throughout the world. Together, we seek to be a church that generously gives of ourselves, our time, and our resources to see lives transformed in His name—both near and far.

    OUTREACH TEAM

The goal of the Outreach Team at PCC is to share God’s love with our local community and the world around us through serving, giving, and building relationships.

The team helps manage outreach resources and organizes opportunities for the PCC family to serve others through community service projects and other outreach initiatives. Team members work together to prayerfully identify opportunities where PCC can make a meaningful impact and help carry out our mission beyond the walls of the church.

Team members are encouraged to attend scheduled meetings, where we work together in prayer, planning, and decision-making as we seek to faithfully steward the resources God has entrusted to us and serve those in need.

  • PRAYER MINISTRY

    WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING

"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."  -Jeremiah 29:12

At PCC, we believe that prayer—both individually and together as a church community—deepens our relationship with Christ, strengthens our relationships with one another, and has the power to change everything.

Each Sunday, we gather in Room 104 at 9:00 AM to pray together as a community before our weekly worship service. We pray for our church, our community, our world, and for God to move in and through our lives.

    Doing Life Together.

PCC Small Groups are designed to help people connect with one another and deepen their relationship with the Lord. Small Groups provide a place to study Scripture together, pray together, grow in faith, serve others, and share both the joys and challenges of everyday life.

We believe that following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. Small Groups create space to build meaningful relationships, encourage one another, and grow as disciples within the community of faith.
