  • BUILDING + GROUNDS MINISTRY

    BUILDING + GROUNDS TEAM

    The building and grounds team is responsible for the upkeep and improvement of the Church's facilities, ensuring that the Church's building and grounds are maintained and repaired as necessaryThe team works to schedule periodic cleanup days for the grounds and coordinates teams for repetitive maintenance of the building and it's grounds. We are seeking to build this team!

  • DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY

    The goal of this ministry is to build disciples for Christ (Matthew 28:18-20) and to prepare men and women for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). We aim to learn and grow deeper in our knowledge of scripture and how Christian faith meets contemporary life. We also want to grow together as a church community; discipling and being discipled. Classes are held on Sunday mornings at 9am.


    DISCIPLESHIP COURSES

    We are seeking individuals who are interested in teaching courses. Teachers will work with Craig Casey to gather course resources and create a course schedule.

  • FINANCE MINISTRY

    Money should be handled in such a way that is defensible against any accusation (2 Corinthians 8:21). Money stewards should be trustworthy people. More than one person should perform every function so that we have accountability (2 Corinthians 8:18-24; Acts 6:3-6).


    FINANCE TEAM

    The church finance team works alongside the leadership team, staff and ministry leaders to establish and monitor the annual budget based on giving projections to maintain that PCC has the necessary resources to fulfill its mission and vision.


    The team receives monthly financial reports for review and presents an update to the Leadership Team and staff at their monthly meetings.


    We are seeking new members for this team.

  • HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

    This ministry makes a great first impression! 


    Through greeting, connecting and hosting, our Hospitality Ministry strives to be a tangible presence of grace in our community by welcoming everyone to PCC on Sunday mornings. We are in the process of building this ministry to include our greeting team, connect team, coffee team and communion team.


    COFFEE TEAM

    Job Description: Our coffee team prepares coffee for our PCC family as they arrive on Sunday mornings. 


    Time requirement: The coffee team arrives at 9:45am on their scheduled Sundays to prepare the coffee prior to the start of the worship service.


    COMMUNION TEAM

    Job Description: Our communion team prepares the communion trays for our worship service on Sunday mornings.


    Time requirement: The communion team arrives at 9:45am on their schedule Sundays to prepare the trays.


    CONNECT TEAM

    Job Description: Our Connect Team is designed to engage with the PCC family as they arrive and leave each Sunday. The team answers any questions a visitor or regular attender may have regarding the ministries here at PCC - we provide an iPad at our Connect Table for this purpose. They also collect Connect Cards from our visitors, share information on our ministries and provide them with a welcome gift.


    Time requirement: The Connect Team arrives 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the worship service on their scheduled Sunday and stays in the foyer for at least 5 minutes after the worship set begins. The team also exits the auditorium just before everyone is dismissed from the worship service and remains in the church foyer until most attendees have left for the day. We are prayerful to have enough individuals on this team to have you volunteer every four to six weeks.


    GREETING TEAM

    Job Description: Our Greeting Team is designed to welcome the PCC family to our Sunday morning worship services. Team members stand at the front doors from 10:00am until approximately 10:20am on their scheduled Sundays.


    Time requirement: The Greeting Team arrives 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the worship service on their scheduled Sundays (the service begins at 10:15am) and will remain at the front doors greeting until approximately 10:20am.

    OUTREACH TEAM

    The mission of the outreach team at PCC is to share God's love with the community and the world at large through the management of resources and organization of service projects. Team members are encouraged to attend scheduled meetings so the team can work together in the decision making processes.

    MERCER STREET FRIENDS FOOD BANK

    Volunteers are needed to package community food bags and bags for the Send Hunger Packing (SHUP) program that provides meals for school children to take home for the weekend. Shifts are Monday through

    Thursday from 9:00am -11:00am and 1:00pm- 3:00pm.

    STREET CHURCH MINISTRIES

    PCC is partnering with Church On The Block in Trenton to host “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday, December 16 from 10:00am–11:30am.


    Volunteers are needed to serve food, mingle with the families, and distribute gifts.

    TEACHERS

    We are excited to announce that we are now signing up PCCKiDS' teachers for October 2023 - June 2024!


    We are seeking month long commitments during this season as this continues to be the most effective way to build relationships with families and share the life-changing message of Jesus. Materials and instructions for leading Bible application games and activities from the Orange curriculum will be prepped and ready for you at least two weeks prior to the beginning of your scheduled month. If you have any questions or want help during your month-long commitment, the PCCKiDS team will be here to support you!

    PRINCETON YOUTH CHURCH

    Our purpose is to love, teach and guide the youth toward Christ and His kingdom. Students meet on Sundays from 5:30pm-7:00pm at PCC.


    PYC LEADERS

    Our youth ministry is prayerfully seeking individuals who are willing to serve as leaders for our students. All volunteers in our Princeton Youth Church Ministry must be background checked [we coordinate + pay prior to you working with the students].


    STUDENT MEALS

    We are also seeking individuals who are interested in providing meals for our students on Sundays and/or when there is an event where food is part of the program.
